Tabli (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by B&L Collective LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication data when you sign up via Apple or Google.
  • Payment handles: Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and PayPal usernames you choose to add for easy bill splitting.
  • Tab data: bill items, prices, participants, and split calculations you create within the app.
  • Receipt images: photos you take for OCR processing. These are processed server-side and stored temporarily.
  • Usage data: anonymized analytics to improve the app experience.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the bill-splitting service.
  • To process receipt images via optical character recognition (OCR).
  • To generate shareable links and QR codes for tab sharing.
  • To improve and optimize the app experience.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Authentication is handled via industry-standard OAuth providers (Apple, Google). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

Free tier: Tab data and receipt images are retained for 30 days after creation. Premium users may have extended retention periods. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

Third-Party Services

  • Google Cloud Vision API: for receipt text extraction.
  • Supabase: for data storage and authentication.
  • Apple/Google Sign-In: for account creation.

These services have their own privacy policies.
